QA Team Lead

As a QA Team Lead at Oktopost, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our B2B social media management platform. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will lead a team of QA engineers, define testing strategies, and drive continuous improvement in our quality assurance processes. Responsibilities
  • Mentor, train, and manage QA engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Establish best practices for collaboration and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
  • Define and implement testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance product quality.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes to align with industry standards.
  • Define success metrics and track KPIs to measure and improve testing efficiency.
  • Drive initiatives to automate testing, reduce manual effort, and enhance test coverage.
  • Lead the creation and execution of manual and automated test plans for web applications, APIs, and integrations.
  • Conduct hands-on manual testing to ensure comprehensive coverage across functional, performance, security, and usability dimensions.
  • Work closely with engineering, product management, and customer support to align quality efforts with business objectives.
  • Advocate for quality and provide clear feedback on product readiness.
  • Ensure product releases meet quality standards before deployment.
  • Own the final validation process for new features, updates, and bug fixes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and software testing life cycles.
  • Proven manual testing experience with web applications, APIs, and integrations.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to track KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
Nice To Have
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, social media management, or marketing technology.
  • Knowledge of performance testing, security testing, and load testing.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
