Colin, has extensive experience in the world of Martech, Financial Services and Fintech, epitomised in his acting as VP of Global Marketing Operations for the world’s largest FinTech company, FIS, for over five years. His standing among his peers in the marketing community is exceptional, as shown by the various industry awards he has received during his career.
With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services and financial technology sectors, Mr. Day has an excellent track record of building and operating high-performing, go-to-market functions. He also has hands-on experience in implementing all aspects of commercial operations in technology and financial services firms across the globe.
His capacity for vision and delivering roadmaps for reaching marketing success was developed during his time as VP of Market Insights and Technology at SunGard, and VP of Global Banking Solutions in the same company, before that. SunGard was acquired by FIS in 2015.
Through the consulting business that he founded in 2018, Mr. Day’s experience as a leader looking to improve a team’s performance through better technology, data, processes and people, he has helped numerous firms transform their commercial operations as the seek that next level of growth and maturity.
Today, Mr. Day is the Managing Director, leading the commercial operations across EMEA and Asia Pacific here at Oktopost, a market leader in B2B social media management and employee advocacy solutions.
In addition to his work at Oktopost, Mr. Day is an active non-executive director and advisor to several SMEs across EMEA and North America.
